It's one of my favourite tours to get you introduced to this amazing city, an excellent start to get familiar with it! I'll help you learn how to easily walk up and down some of the 7 hills, discovering the old wonders of this ancient metropolis, through the historic districts of Alfama, Costa do Castelo and Baixa. I'll get you to the right places, with exact info, enough stops, enthusiastic curiosities that will make you start feeling Lisbon inside you as if you had somehow been here before and many extra suggestions! Perfect for all ages! Ready to see a 12th century Cathedral and the old trams passing by? Delight your eyes with fantastic panoramic views at some view points. There will be time for a nice stop where together we'll experience some local treats.       Chic and Elegant Lisbon - the Half Day Tour that gives you a special feel of the city

      The glamorous fishing town and the scenic coast We'll start the day by driving to the westernmost continental point in Europe: Cabo da Roca. Stop and hold your breath: stunning views, the cliff side landscape, the 18th century lighthouse! Within a short scenic drive along the coast we'll reach Cascais. I spent much of my youth there and it is a charming place! You'll be surrendered to the Atlantic blue waters of this XIX century old fishermen's village, its noble atmosphere and beautiful beaches. There's a lot to see: palaces, mansions, fortresses, beaches, lighthouses, museums, parks. . ! It's the kind of place where most of the food comes sea-to-table: a true paradise! Who knows if you decide to stay for lunch! And the gelato? A must eat! A perfect half day spent so close to Lisbon that will create many beautiful memories! Are you ready?

      Belém: Back to the Age of Discoveries

      An adventure in charming Sintra, discovering the magic secrets of Regaleira Palace & Park I hope you're ready for this experience! I love this place and I truly wanna share it with you: a world of very interesting curiosities! This tour will help you to understand better what's behind Quinta da Regaleira and the person who dreamt about it, as well as how the 19th century multiple episodes in Portugal influenced our present days. Regaleira Park & Palace are an eclectic-revivalist architectural ensemble, which bring back the past through the Manueline decoration and different styles such as Renaissance, Medieval and Classical. It's going through the entire Portuguese history in just one site! You'll fall in love with Sintra, a fascinating small town at the foot of the 528m/1732ft mountain, filled with luxuriant vegetation and part of the Sintra-Cascais Natural Park.       Across the Tagus River: Setúbal, Arrábida Mountain, Cristo Rei and the Bridges of Lisbon

      Discover the hiden jewels of Arrábida's landscape (by minivan) We'll start by crossing the 11m/17km Vasco da Gama bridge, enjoying the view over river Tagus' wild protected areas to reach Setúbal, inhabited since the time of the Phoenicians which has always been linked to seafaring activities, where we'll visit its 1876 colourful traditional farmers' market, one of the 10 best in the world! Drive along Arrábida mountain with its breathtaking views over a Franciscan Convent and natural bays. Perfect to escape crowds and reenergyze! If you wish, this suggestion can be added (please get in touch!): Stop at a regional wine estate for a tour to learn about the history of the family founders, crowned by a unique wine tasting. Did you know that this is a family company run by its 6th and 7th generations? Family wines with almost 200 years of histoy, awarded several times, received in 2019 over 45000 visitors from 80 different countries! Before returning to Lisbon through the April 25th bridge, brief stop at Cristo Rei shrine and monument from where the Portuguese capital looks like a postcard.

A calm and charming half day trip only a few minutes away from Lisbon is waiting for you!

      Évora, the Queen of Alentejo - A day trip from Lisbon to enjoy the picturesque and timeless city

      If you're looking for a different day trip starting from Lisbon with your family and friends, this is the perfect tour! Enjoy the beauty of the quiet Alentejo region and its amazing history, culture, traditions, gastronomy and monuments. Évora is a world heritage site where you can see from a 7, 000 years old cromlech, a Roman temple built on 1AC, a 13th century gothic cathedral, an astonishing bone chapel, the typical houses, shops and streets, beautiful gardens and the second oldest Portuguese university. Surrounding Évora, there's an impressive 16th century aqueduct and breathtaking landscapes filled with cork trees! This gem has always been one of the favourite cities of the Portuguese royal family and of many noble families who loved this hideaway, I guess as much as you will :) Nearby there are true places not to be missed so you might consider stay for a couple of days in Évora.       Unique Sintra: One Palace and Cabo da Roca and the breathtaking most western continental point in Europe

      We'll start the day by driving to Sintra, a fascinating small town at the foot of the mountain. Endowed with luxuriant vegetation, it is part of the Sintra-Cascais Natural Park. Fairytale castles and palaces will take you back in time; a special nook that led UNESCO to classify it as a World heritage site. Let's visit Vila National Palace, a 13th century summer residence of our royal family with amazing tiles and inspiring rooms that will help you imagine how life was back then. OR Let's drive towards Monserrate, unbelievably calm, this was the home to several English families since the 18th century, a true masterpiece. The ideal quiet spot to learn about its connection to the first hospital of Lisbon, writers like William Beckford and Lord Byron, Sir Francis Cook the British trader and art collector, who, all together made Monserrate one of the most beautiful places in Portugal. Afterwards, we'll go to the most western continental point in Europe: Cabo da Roca. Photo stop in Guincho drive back to Lisbon.

      Pena Palace, the one and only & the historic centre of Sintra - Half Day Tour

      The breathtaking jewel of the crown & the enchanting town We'll start the day with an early drive up the hill to the extravagant 19th Romantic Pena Palace to arrive there before all crowds and have this breathtaking gem just for ourselves. Unmissable landmark and one of the Seven Wonders of Portugal, you have to go there at least once your lifetime! After this unforgettable start, we'll proceed to the historic centre of Sintra, a fascinating small town at the foot of the 528m/1732ft mountain.       Sintra: Secrets Off the Beaten Track

      Experience the hidden places From Lisbon we'll drive towards amazing spots in Sintra, avoiding crowds and tasting the real Portugal. Early stop in Sintra, before all the crowds arrive to its historic centre and discover a fascinating small town at the foot of the mountain, a UNESCO site to since 1995. It just looks purely and unexpectedly lost in time. Time for some local pastries and unique flavours. We'll continue through a marvelous road to Colares, a charming little town, famous for being the smallest demarcated wine region in Portugal. After this, the hidden gem of Azenhas do Mar, a picturesque village by the sea with a beautiful pool dug in the cliff. Stop for some astonishing views in Adraga: it could almost cross your mind that those cliffs were carved to fit perfectly that wild and rugged beach. Let's delight the eyes at the breathtaking Cabo da Roca, the most western point of mainland Europe and dream with the white waves of Guincho along the Atlantic, before returning to Lisbon.

      We'll start the day away from the crowds in Queluz Palace, a sumptuous 18th century royal palace: the perfect place to learn the curiosities about the period pre-earthquake, the French invasions, life in Brazil, our royal family's peculiar marriages. Enjoy its amazing gardens: an incredible tasty blend of Baroque, Rococo and Neoclassicism. (If you prefer we can visit Pena Palace or a different one instead - please read the note below in the itinerary section) Then, we'll visit the historic centre of Sintra, a fascinating small town at the bottom of the mountain range. Endowed with luxuriant vegetation, it is part of the Sintra-Cascais Natural Park. Fairytale castles and palaces will take you back in time; undoubtedly a special nook with unique characteristics that led UNESCO to classify it as a World heritage site. Drive towards the Atlantic blue waters of Cascais, a 19th century fishermen's village, today a summer retreat with a very noble atmosphere. Photo stop and return to Lisbon along the coastal road.

      Cork Forest Experience in Alentejo

      A day trip to learn about this special tree and taste the local gastronomy Looking for a different day trip from Lisbon with your family and friends? This is the perfect tour to discover the beauty of the quiet Alentejo region and a unique cork tree forest, not forgetting the tasting of some local gastronomical products such as bread, jam, cheese, chouriço, wine and fruit of the season. On foot or by bicycle (you can choose but it's not more than 0. 93miles -1. 24miles), we'll make several stops along the property and experience unique moments, while you will learn all about the special cork trees, strolling through the fields, where you can also help to feed the farm animals! Kids will love it. This guided tour reveals all the secrets about the wonderful world of the cork oak forest and the beauty of the fruit orchards, and it ends with a delicious tasting. Note: The cork harvest season is from July to September, so it's not guaranteed that off season you might experience watching it happen.
